Hey guys! Bet y'all thought I'd gone and died on you! I'm doing well, just very busy. Unfortunately, I lack a computer at home and work blocks dA and basically everything except my e-mail. I'm borrowing my sister's computer to do this right now. But I did want to let y'all know I've not forgotten about you and I'm doing well. Hopefully things will smooth out soon and I'll be able to come on more often. We'll wait and see. In the mean time, hope all is going well for y'all and I'll be talking at you later! I just wanted to come on here and thank all of you personally for the love and prayers that you showed me after the passing of my Dad.

With that said, I'll say this as well. My family is doing better, but we're still trying to get things straightened out. My Momma is moving to another place and I still don't have a computer at my apartment where I moved. So when I'm at home on the weekends, my time is occupied helping her. So bear with my absence a while longer, if you please. Don't give up on me yet! I've not abandoned you, I promise! And, hopefully, when I get a chance, I'll be able to devote time back to my art and be able to share it with you. I certainly hope so, at any rate.

The reason for my absence as of late has been simple, my friends.

#1 - I recently moved out of the house and into an apartment, meaning that I had no internet access.

#2 - When I have been at home, my time had been dedicated to trying to take care of my Grandma, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimers.

But the biggest reason as of late has been this: as of Sunday, my Daddy had a massive heart attack and died because of it. So everyone please forgive me for not commenting on your work or for catching up. I usually try to do so but I'm just not able to at this time. I ask for your forgiveness and also for your prayers. My family really needs them at this time.

Updating a journal now is hard. There has been a lot going on in my life as of late, between work and National Guard.

But as of April 26, I have one less person to share it with. Many people don't consider pets people, but my beagle Shiloh was one of my best friends.

There are many types of love that a person can experience. But the love of a person and their dog is a special bond. Shiloh was prematurely taken from me and there is a void in my life right now that can't be filled. I'm not saying in the future that I won't love another dog, but that other dog will not be my Little Man. There is no replacement for him. And, in all honesty, I wouldn't want there to be. That would belittle what he meant to me in the 2 years that he was in my life.

Rest in peace, my baby boy. You were a fine companion and friend and I love and miss you dearly.
